Daniel Kotton resigns as Tshiamiso Trust CEO

Since his appointment in October 2020, Kotton has played a critical role giving life to the Trust Deed through operationalising its complex requirements to pay compensation to eligible claimants.

“It has been a privilege and honour to serve as the CEO of the Tshiamiso Trust,” said Kotton. “Immense work has been done to get the Trust to the point it is now, and I am confident that with the operations and exceptional staff in place, the Trust is well-positioned to continue to deliver on its mandate.”

“The Board would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank Kotton for his invaluable contribution to the Trust and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. The humility with which he has served and his commitment to upholding the Trust values is exemplary,” said Board Chairperson, Dr May Hermanus.

Further announcements regarding a new appointment and transitional arrangements will be made in due course and stakeholders will be advised accordingly. During this transition period we are confident that the Trust will continue to faithfully discharge its mandate, ensuring that all eligible claimants are compensated.
